We have a very exciting opportunity for someone to join our unique Harrods Interior Design team! This will be approximately 4 weeks for you to perform specific research tasks for the department, ultimately contributing towards the teams’ continued growth.

About the Role

The role will start in December 2023 and take you through to January 2024. You will be required to work on a part time basis during term time (20 hours per week) and full time during the holiday period (40 hours), and you will be employed through an agency on a contractor/temporary basis.

The goal of this project is to research, analyse and then devise a new international commercial solution for the Interior Design business. You will conduct a housing market analysis, both UK & internationally-focused, conduct key competitor analysis and assess market drivers.

You will be given a key set of project particulars and deliverables, and throughout this period, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver your information to senior stakeholders.

About You

As well as having excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal, you will ideally also be currently studying an MBA, or have equivalent education or working experience, covering the following skillsets:

An inquisitive mindset.
Previous experience compiling detailed research and following project particulars.
The ability to balance the big picture and specific details, including financials.
The ability to process high volumes of insight, analytics and data to identify key trends and build stories and proposals.
Be highly numerate, able to find solutions to complex issues, is resolute and determined to find the ‘answer’
