Quality Assurance Technician

Our Food Safety & Technical team support our growing array of restaurants and our magnificent Food Halls, in our continued ambition to be one of the world’s leading food destinations. We’re now looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join this fun, dynamic and talented team.

About The Role

As Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll report to the Food Safety Manager and you’ll be responsible for monitoring the quality of fresh products delivered to our Knightsbridge receiving bank and also the compliance of food safety and quality management from reception to end user. Having a good eye for detail, you’ll be in charge of carrying out regular checks in kitchen and restaurant to ensure that product shelf life is well maintained and supporting restaurants and food halls with regular floor walks to trouble shoot where required.

About You

You’ll be a valuable team player with ideally a Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Safety/Technical subject or time spent in the industry in a similar role. Having completed Food Hygiene L2 training also desirable. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to succeed, as there will be opportunities to grow and develop your career in this field. 

You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with other business areas in your day to day. You’ll have good analytical skills and with excellent attention to detail. Having solid PC skills is a must, being particularly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with auditing would also be advantageous.
