Sales Associate - Rotisserie

We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our Rotisserie department within our one-of-a-kind Food Halls. You will be responsible for providing world class customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals – all whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand.

About the Role

The role of a Sales Associate on our Rotisserie counter will provide the opportunity to learn more about food and service within our wider Foodhalls Division. The environment is fast moving and customer service focused, with the Sales Associates working on the counter being passionate and knowledgeable about all things food and drink.

From loading the raw chickens into the hot oven behind the counter, storing meat at the right temperatures, and cutting, preparing, serving meats (chicken, pork, beef), to providing an excellent customer service to all our customers, the Sales Associates on the Rotisserie counter relish the hustle and bustle of our world-famous Food Halls.

About You

You will have prior experience working in a hot food counter or kitchen environment, and will be comfortable assisting and advising customers based on their needs and preferences and/or allergies on their lunch selection - involving preparing lunch boxes, wraps and sandwiches whilst providing excellent customer service. You will also have excellent communication skills, enabling you to work with our production kitchen to ensure the food preparation runs smoothly and the counter is fully stocked at all times.

You will also:

• Have great organisational skills to keep the counter running smoothly.
• Have the ability to remain calm and measured even when under pressure.
• Be resilient and adaptable to your audience and environment, believing that anything is possible.
• Have good knowledge of food safety .
• Be comfortable working with meat, both raw and cooked (chicken, pork, beef).
• Have an awareness of allergies and dietary restrictions, preferred, but not essential.
• Have kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred, but not essential).
