Sales Associate - Wine & Spirits

We are currently looking for a full time Sales Associate to join our prestigious Wines & Spirits department, home to over 1,400 wines and 400 varieties of spirits. You will be part of a friendly, knowledgeable team that loves sharing expertise and creating unforgettable experiences for our customers.

You will also enjoy a package that includes a minimum salary of £29,988 + commission, as well as access to our renowned Harrods benefits, including generous discounts across our store and restaurants.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for playing a key part in creating exceptional experiences for our customers. Your role is all about delivering outstanding service, sharing your expertise, and representing the Harrods brand.

You will:

• Provide world-class customer service and build lasting relationships.
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge across wines and spirits.
• Advise customers on the perfect wines and spirits based on their preferences.
• Understand the principles of wine storage, service, and food pairing.

This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You

You will have a passion for wines and spirits ideally having prior working experience within the industry and developing your knowledge within this field. You care about creating memorable moments for Harrods customers and always go the extra mile.

You will:

• Be open-minded, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
• Enjoy storytelling and bringing products to life for customers.
• Have technical knowledge of wines and spirits (WSET Level 2 or 3, or similar qualifications are a plus, but not essential)
• Be highly organised to keep the shop floor running smoothly.
• Work collaboratively and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
