Senior Buyer's Clerk - Fine Jewellery

You’ll become part of one of the most exciting and fast-moving buying departments in the world. By supporting our Buyer and Assistant Buyer, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the Buying Office across all omnichannels (store, online and airports) and both operational models (own buy and concession). You will be responsible for creating all Purchase Orders for the department and ensuring all POs are confirmed on the system ahead of the new seasons. Liaising with the merchandising team, you’ll ensure merchandise is delivered on time by monitoring deliveries for online managed and concessions stock. You’ll assist with product selection and orders, highlighting new brands and key season trends for creating the department Look Book, PR Newsletter and Publishing for the Harrods Magazine fashion shoots.

About you

Attention to detail is a must which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. A flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities is important also. Being aware of the luxury sector, this role also requires someone with strong analytical and numeracy skills. You’ll have a great knowledge about using Microsoft Word and Excel. SAP knowledge is preferable. You’ll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate confidently at all levels and build relationships with brands, the store retail team, merchandising team and online trading team.
