Stock Control Specialist

Our Stock Operations team are now looking for a Stock Control Specialist to join them in our Knightsbridge location.

About The Role

 
The Stock Control Specialist provides vital analytical insight and trend analysis to support the stock management process and ensure the efficient flow of goods. This will also include reporting and continuous improvement along with playing a leading role during brand scans and full site stocktakes.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Issuing and solving stock audits in a timely manner to resolve stock-related discrepancies, keeping the Stock Operations Manager informed of outstanding issues. 
• Taking an active role in RTV and RTS procedures ensuring adherence to Distribution protocols.
• Coaching and training of Stock Operation associations where appropriate.
• Proactively lead the Stock Operative team in the absence of the Stock Operations Manager, ensuring all team members are aware of their tasks and that processes and procedures are followed correctly.
• Completing stock adjustments and write off forms for approval by the appropriate level approver in line with the company’s authorisation matrix.

About You

You will have great attention to detail as you will be checking key details of luxury orders on a day to day basis. You will be hard working, quick thinking and have the ability and willingness to multi-task. You will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to a high Harrods standard. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind. Having a prior knowledge of SAP would be preferred and computer skills required.
