We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our Distribution Centre in Thatcham. Our Team Leaders play an integral role in the delivery of our online day to day operations for our distribution centre, we work together, and we win together in bringing moments of magic to our customers.

This position works varied shifts between 7am-11pm Monday to Sunday and with regular weekend work.

About You

You will be an experienced people manager used to managing and optimising operational outputs of daily shifts for transport amongst a fleet of drivers and vehicles. You will have a HTV level 1 license and knowledgeable of supply chain management, motivated to prove yourself and add value to a business in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to the changing demands of the role. An accountable and inspirational manager, you will pride yourself and your team on the quality of your work and ability to build strong working relationships through building trust. You are proactive in getting things done, driving tasks through to completion to deliver what has been promised.

What to expect

As a Team Leader you will support Senior Management by leading a team in the efficient and smooth onward flow of goods through the supply chain providing the level of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for. You will manage a small team in their daily shift delivery and stock management in the warehouse, setting clear objectives and responding to shifts in pace and priorities. You will maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Line Manager immediately. You will regularly review procedures for improvements in efficiency and working practices, and to make any recommendations to the Assistant Manager.
