Join our Harrods Collections team as a Technical Admin Assistant, providing vital administrative and organisational support to ensure products move smoothly through the development and buying cycle. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As a Technical Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Technical team across all areas of the product lifecycle. Working closely with Buying, Design, Merchandising and Technical colleagues, you'll help coordinate processes, maintain accurate documentation, manage samples and compliance records, and ensure critical deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and eager to build their career within a fast-paced product development environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Technical team with administration across product development, fittings, testing, compliance and supplier communications.
  • Coordinating samples, fit sessions, supplier visits and key meetings, including preparing documentation and taking meeting notes.
  • Maintaining compliance files, monitoring key dates and ensuring critical path activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assisting with inspection and testing programmes, managing reports and liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Supporting departmental processes through invoice administration, supplier set-up, systems management and training documentation.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.

With a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in product development, you will build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also bring a positive, solutions-focused approach and be eager to contribute to the success of a busy and dynamic team.

You will also have:

  • Previous administrative experience within a technical, product development or similar environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • A technical or product-related qualification (degree level desirable) and excellent communication and customer service skills.
