Trainee Internal Auditor

What to expect

In this role you will work within the Group Internal Audit function to help provide business stakeholders with the assurance that Harrods risks are managed and controlled adequately. You will do this by reviewing the business risks, controls and operational performance throughout the diverse Harrods group. You will participate in the continuous monitoring programme which involves the analysis and investigation of business-wide data. Additionally you will also research the related underlying processes and systems. This role will include audit fieldwork, testing and writing reports on your findings, therefore a keen eye for detail is imperative.

About You

You will be proficient communicator with an interest in the function, as well as possessing excellent numeracy and literacy skills. You will have strong administrative skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Given the nature of the role, it is essential that you maintain complete confidentiality at all times. With a solutions focused approach, you will be proactive and take pride in what you do. You will be able to build relationships internally with key stakeholders.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Harrods will invest in your development and support you to undertake a professional qualification (CIA, CMIIA, ACCA) to assist you in your career of Internal Audit.
