About You

You are a hardworking person with an SIA licence, looking to join a well-respected team of Uniformed Security Officers as Harrods.  You will be an excellent communicator, and have excellent customer service skills.

What to Expect

• Your role will consist of standing door supervision, mobile patrols, asset protection, first aid and emergency response meaning you will need to remain calm under pressure and react quickly in challenging situations.
• Your working week will consist of 12 hour shifts made up of either days or nights over a 4 out of 7 day rota.
  • As no two days at Harrods are the same, you will need to be highly adaptable.
  • Whilst our security team has safety as their top priority, providing a warm and approachable face for customers is also key. Committed to exceptional customer service, you will leap at the chance to go the extra mile for our customers.
  • You will also be required to write reports, document investigations, and keep your personal notebook up-to-date. With this in mind, we are looking for candidates with a GCSE or equivalent in English, and strong overall communication skills.

What is important?

• To be successful candidates will need a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence, either a Security or Customer Service background and complete our written and physical assessment process.
• At times, this role can be physically demanding and a high level of fitness is essential on application.
