Visual Merchandiser - Home and Furniture

Do you have an eye for interiors and enjoy working collaboratively to make an impact?

We are looking for an innovative Visual Merchandiser to join our Interiors Division.

With your outstanding creative merchandising capabilities, you will be responsible for enhancing the department’s image and maximising the appeal of our products. Using your keen eye for detail, you will carefully prepare and select appropriate merchandise for various promotions, displaying a continued awareness of trends, the Harrods customer and the seasonal calendar.

You will take pride in your work by representing Harrods Visual Merchandising across a number of Homewares and Furniture brands, liaising with their brand representatives directly and providing a constant link for all aesthetic developments. In doing so, you will also ensure brand floor lay outs, styling, department merchandising, commerciality is considered and challenged, whilst adhering to Harrods impeccable visual standards at all times. Working closely with the VM Team Leader and internal support teams you will also actively manage and coordinate the movement of brand showroom/department changes and seasonal updates in an organised and efficient fashion.

Further to this, you will have the opportunity to design, dress and install displays in line with a seasonal Marketing calendar to best showcase the department. In order to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to an exceptional standard, you must be willing to actively source materials, work with external suppliers and support wider team initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for Interiors, styling, excellent communication skills, project management ability, creative awareness, and problem-solving skills, and show a well-rounded visual approach in a Retail environment.
