Hi there! This is Katie, Talent Development Advisor at Harrods. As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we wanted to highlight our current apprentices and encourage all colleagues to learn more about apprenticeships. In case you didn't know we have colleagues studying apprenticeships across various levels, working towards qualifications in areas such as Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, Buying & Merchandising, Project Management, Restaurants & Kitchens, and many more.
We started the week with a Chef Apprentice Breakfast where our amazing Commis Chef apprentices created a menu and hosted mentors from Uxbridge College and Westminster Kingsway for an exclusive breakfast morning. You can watch the video below. We also conducted career clinics and career conversations across our sites and welcomed St Peters Catholic School for a tour.
Jane from 360 Training joined us for a Growth Mindset session for our Retail Academy apprentices, and we concluded the week by hosting a company-wide apprentice Networking event with two career talks from current apprentices in the business.
