AML Officer

We’re currently looking for a full time Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer to join our knowledgeable and established Anti-Money Laundering team here at Harrods. The AML Officer will provide the team with administrative support whilst ensuring the company establishes and maintains appropriate policies, procedures, systems, and controls to meet its regulatory obligations and requirements.

About the Role

The AML Officer will provide operational support to the AML team and ensure all administrative tasks for the department are completed. This role will be responsible for reporting transactions on a daily basis, and reviewing transactions conducted across all areas of Harrods (Knightsbridge store, Harrods Estates, H beauty, Harrods Aviation and Harrods International). The AML Officer will intermittently support the AML Manager in transaction investigations and liaising with the Store investigations team on ongoing cases. This role will also oversee the AML training and development progress across all employees at Harrods.

About You
 

You will have a passion for Anti-Money Laundering and will ideally have worked in a similar setting. You will have a thorough understanding AML and have a certification in Anti-Money Laundering from the ICA (International Compliance Association) or equivalent (i.e. ACAMS (The Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) or other).

You will also:

•    Have working knowledge of AML regulations requirements.
•    Have an understanding of ethical standards, including the Financial Conduct Authority's guidance on good practice.
•    Be confident and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. 
•    Be attentive to detail and have a methodical approach to problem-solving.
•    Be a team player.
