About You

Studying towards your ACCA or CIMA with previous experience accounting experience in a commercial environment. You will have the ability to investigate variances and create new accounting processes. As part of this role you will challenge processes and costs incurred by senior management.   With a motivational mind-set and strong attention to detail you will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.

What to Expect

You will manage and maintain the Harrods .Com and Marketing cost centres, ensuring accurate reporting of costs in accordance with applicable accounting standards, whilst producing monthly reconciliations of relevant balance sheet accounts.

Producing periodic reports and analysis on these costs centres for review and discussion with senior management, whilst assisting with ad-hoc queries in these areas and general expenditure.

In addition you will closely monitor payroll expenditure and challenge overspends where necessary.

You will support and assist with the annual budgeting process and year end statutory audit, as well as various other ad-hoc duties within the finance department.
