About You

You will be accountable for constantly educating and guiding the building contractors, so that they are working in line with both Company policy and procedures and adhering to all legislative requirements. You will be responsible for issuing several hundred access passes each week after checking they comply with access requirements. You will have a working knowledge of health and safety legislation involved in maintenance, alterations or additions to buildings, and be vigilant on all matters relating to health and safety.

What is important?

You will be an exceptionally strong communicator, and as such be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, contractors, colleagues and Senior Management. You will be well organised and be able to demonstrate a high level of integrity and diplomacy in your communication with individuals at all levels within the business. Attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for making sure our exceptional brand image is maintained and all hoardings, investigation works and completed shop fits are fit for trade each day.

The successful candidate must hold a CSCS card.

What to expect

Flexibility regarding your working hours is crucial, as the team operates 24/7 and shift patterns will include weekends, bank holidays, evenings and night shifts. You will need to be contactable at all times when on shift and out of hours including weekends, and to cover other Managers’ shift patterns when necessary.
