Facilities Help Desk Operator (Part Time)

We are looking to recruit a part time Facilities Help Desk Operator to support and direct our technical teams in maintain our iconic Knightsbridge store across any 2 days of the week. In this exciting role you will work from as part of our service centre to record, track and delegate reactive issues and plan maintenance to ensure all elements of our facilities operation are tender to by our technical teams and ultimately deliver the seamless experience our customers enjoy daily.

About us

These are exciting times for everyone shaping facilities at Harrods. We are currently modernising our helpdesk to transform our maintenance data management and streamline our processes to solve real business issues efficiently.  You’ll have a key role to play in liaising with the employee initially raising their facilities ticket as well as the technical, support specialists who will troubleshoot and resolve or escalate this issue amongst our web of skilled and inform facilities professionals. You’ll aid a truly connected business where issues are identified swiftly, effective solutions found and applied, and trust built through the delivery of daily excellence.

About you

You’ll be dealing with people at all levels across the business, so great communication skills and customer focus are a must. This role is tailor-made for a translator of facilities faults into clear and practical resolutions, ideally you will have experience and insight into supporting a complex facilities operation from the role of a designated support team member but most importantly we are looking for the energy, enthusiasm and curiosity that will help you to succeed.

What to expect

You’ll ensure the smooth maintenance and unaltered presentation of our Knightsbridge flagship store as well as our Office locations and new stand-alone stores across an 2 of our 7-day week operation. No day is the same, you’ll react and respond to all facilities escalations across our business, developing your knowledge of fault finding and troubleshooting, ensuring prestigious customer service levels on behalf of the facilities department whilst growing your career in the direction that suits your talents and ambitions in our evolving business. We understand the success of our facilities maintenance team build by trust, and great foundations are laid by people, not bricks.
