We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team here in Harrods. You will report into the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will be responsible for providing financial support and insight to various business units within the company.
This is a 12-Month Fixed Term position
About the Role
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for leading on financial matters including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, reporting on and improving business performance whilst analysing and providing insight on business opportunities, including capital investment.
You will also:
- Work closely with the senior leadership to identify key performance indicators and track them to ensure that the business areas are meeting their financial targets.
- Analyse and assess risk factors, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor and report on risk exposure.
- Drive continuous improvement to processes and reporting to meet the changing requirements of the business area.
- Lead the budget and forecast cycles for your areas of responsibility.
- Lead monthly P&L performance meetings.
- Conduct post investment reviews, and drive a return on investment minded culture.
- Act as a mentor to key employees by giving individual guidance, advice, and support
About You
You must be fully qualified, with at least 1 or more of the following (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Previous experience as an analyst or Business Partner is important. We are looking for someone who is analytical with a problem solving mindset as you will be proactively analysing data to gain business insights and make recommendations.
You will also have the following;
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent Time management skills.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Great attention to detail.
