About You

You are talented in creating systematic and automated processes and tools for reporting data and insights, underpinned by strong technical skills and commercial acumen. This role calls for a detail-orientated analyst who enjoys manipulating data and loves the challenge of creating highly automated solutions for data collection, validation and analysis – with a relentless focus on how the data will support commercial decision making.

What to Expect

Harrods.com is a key part of the overall Harrods business and we have a newly created role to provide insight and strategic recommendations into marketplace pricing and marketing spend. Working closely with technical and commercial teams the aim of this role is to deliver at-scale pricing and marketing channel visibility to enable us with accurate data and insights to drive pricing and spend strategies.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working cross functionally across the Marketing, Trade and IT to scope, deliver and operationalise pricing intelligence and insight
  • Working cross functionally across the Marketing, Trade and IT to scope, deliver and operationalise marketing channel visibility and insight
  • Designing data-models, dashboards and insight reports which deliver real value to the business
  • Structuring problem solving, conducting analysis and designing and building robust, scalable and error-resistant models and reporting to support key commercial decisions
  • Regularly presenting findings to senior leaders
  • Independently planning and managing projects through to operational delivery
  • Proactively seeking out opportunities for improvement to enhance business processes and team performance

What is important?

You will need to have 2+ years’ experience working as a technical or commercial Analyst role, either in house or as a consultant and hold a Bachelors' or Masters’ degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative subject like maths, physics, engineering, computer science, statistics, economics. We are looking for someone who has experience in delivering multiple end-to-end projects involving the solution of problems from first principles in a range of scenarios and online retail.
