Principal Electrical Technician

We are looking to recruit a Principal Electrical Technician to set the standard as an electrical subject matter expert amongst our engineering and maintenance teams. In this role, you will supervise and manage external contractors and a team in-house Engineers. You will be accountable of ensuring that all of the Technician’s work is in line with Industry best practice and adhered to relevant Health and Safety regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a seamless Harrods experience for all our customers.

About You

As a recognised specialist you will be suitably qualified to a minimum City and Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Parts I and II. As our lead technical specialist, you will have previous experience as a qualified Electrician Supervisor, accustomed to managing teams and projects. You’ll be fully conversant with all British standards and relevant regulations. You will require a BS 7671 18th Edition.

You’ll have demonstrable experience responding to critical incidents and reacting to a changing environment. By being a team player, you’ll have the ability to motivate others to work collaboratively towards team goals. You’ll provide technical support to the Senior Management Team by controlling, monitoring and prioritising all work schedules in accordance with the FM System procedures.
