Sales Associate - Rotisserie

We are now looking for full time Sales Associates to join our welcoming and close-knit Harrods family within our Rotisserie department in our Foodhalls.

About the Role

Our Rotisserie counter is one of a kind, providing the opportunity to learn more about food and service within our wider Foodhalls Division. The environment is fast moving and customer service focused, with the Sales Associates working on the counter being passionate and knowledgeable about all things food and drink.

From loading the raw chickens in the hot oven behind the counter, storing meat at the right temperatures, and cutting, preparing, serving meats (chicken, pork, beef), to providing an excellent customer service to all our customers, the Sales Associates on the Rotisserie counter will relish the hustle and bustle of our world-famous Foodhalls.

In return, you’ll enjoy a package that includes an annual salary of £28,554 and access to a monthly bonus, a company pension, 22 days’ holiday, and your birthday off, up to 33% in-store discount (including across our food hall and restaurants) and a season ticket loan.

About You
You’ll be responsible for providing a world-class, personal customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the values and Harrods brand.

You will be assisting and advising customers based on their needs and preferences and/or allergies on their lunch selection, which will involve preparing lunch boxes, wraps and sandwiches whilst providing excellent customer service. You will also have an excellent communication with our production kitchen to ensure the food preparation runs smoothly and the counter is fully replenished at all times.

You’ll also -

• Have great organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly
• Have the ability to remain calm, and measured even when under pressure
• You’ll be resilient, and adaptable to your audience and environment believing that anything is possible
• Have good knowledge of food safety 
• Be comfortable working with meat, both raw and cooked (chicken, pork, beef)
• Have an awareness of allergies and dietary restrictions (preferred, but not essential)
• Have kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred, but not essential)
