It’s an exciting time at Harrods. We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Manager who will use their strong analytical abilities to extract insightful conclusions from large volumes of data and deliver concise conclusions to drive informed decisions making. At Harrods we are undertaking a project to revolutionise data analytics and introduce a single view of customer. This role will be key in developing new analytical capabilities once the platform is delivered.

About you

A curious individual, who thrives on being given a question to answer and finding the most relevant data to do so. You do not just answer the question that is asked you also answer the questions that should be asked. You will have a good balance of strong technical skills and analytical skills enabling you to both work comfortably with large volumes of data and also deliver insightful conclusions to non-analysts. Furthermore, you will be agile and thrive in a fast-moving environment, equally happy tackling larger, more in-depth projects and quick turnaround ad hoc requests.

As an experienced analyst you will be responsible for the end-to-end project, from taking a brief with a stakeholder to delivering the final conclusions. You will be comfortable juggling multiple projects and prioritising projects as required.

In addition to analytical projects, you will manage projects to deliver BI dashboards. Working with stakeholders to scope out their requirements, developing wireframes and then briefing and managing the BI team to build them.

To be successful, you must have good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and either Python or R. A background in Statistics, Mathematics, Science is preferred. Experience of the retail or luxury sector would be a bonus.
