Senior Data Networks Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Networks Engineer to join our IT team at Harrods. To provide technical support for Harrod’s Data Network on both LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security and SDA environments.

The role is based in Hammersmith with travel to our Knightsbridge and Thatcham sites.

About The Role

As the Senior Data Networks Engineer you will work collaboratively within the data network team as a leader of technology. As the senior you will be expected to demonstrate a level of technical expertise colleagues can aspire to. You will also play a proactive role in each relevant project to establish and aid in the delivery of the requirement.

You will also;

• Implement, promote and enforce standards, safeguards, and procedures concerning the technical architecture of the Cisco Core Networking layer across multiple sites, WAN environment
• Ensure maximum service availability and performance through proactive monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement to service and processes
• Help mentor other members of the team re-enforcing the strong value of collaboration within the team

About You

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience as a Senior Network Engineers and CCNP. We were also be looking for someone with scripting experience Phyton is the preferred. It is also advantageous to have experience in SDA/CISCO CISCO ACI DNA centre.

You will also have:

• Strong Customer Service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong team play ethics
• Comfortable using collaboration tools
