Supply Chain Assistant Manager- Fresh Food

Our well-known Food Halls is at the heart of our Teracotta Palace on the Ground Floor, but you will also find a great variety of restaurants, bars and cafés in Harrods. As a Food Supply Assistant Manager you will lead a high performing supply team delivering results through effective management of the product cycle within Harrods Food Halls, Restaurants & Kitchen, automation and building scalable processes in order to minimise waste while maximising sales through availability across all channels.

About you

You will lead and develop a high performing supply team, delivering results through effective management of the product cycle within the Harrods Food Halls, Restaurants and Kitchens. You have a true passion for food, are commercially savvy with excellent communication, problem solving and project management skills.  

A clear communicator with previous management experience who has confidence in speaking to both internal (IT, Distribution, Retail) and external stakeholders (suppliers) and can motivate and encourage cross functional ways of working by providing development opportunities across the team.

You will be able to create accountability by founding KPI’s (e.g. availability) through measurable metrics, scalable processes and creation of self service and you will be able to work closely with key stakeholders in commercial and retail in order to develop processes to deliver KPI’s in waste management and availability whilst maximising sales opportunities. More specifically, we’re looking for someone with:

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge in buying systems (SAP, PIM & Proclarity)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership to inspire and nurture a high performing team by reviewing team’s capabilities, provide training and role modelling values

As a Food Supply Assistant Manager you will support the Food Supply Manager and be the escalation point for all queries from the Supply Coordinators in relation to product availability in Food Halls, Restaurants and Kitchens.
