Uniformed Security Officer

About You

The role of Uniformed Security Officer provides an excellent level of service in ensuring the safety of the store, staff and customers alike. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and react quickly in challenging situations, keeping alert throughout the day and providing an efficient response to those who need you.

Your role will be highly interactive and customer facing, therefore being approachable and having a helpful manner will see you excel day to day. You'll be a true Harrods ambassador.

No two days will be the same for you, and so you will need to be highly adaptable. In addition to conducting regular patrols, your daily duties will include writing reports, documenting investigations, and keep your personal notebook up-to-date. With this in mind, possessing strong communication skills is also important.

What to Except

In and around store, you'll be assigned to various locations in order to maintain a security presence and be on hand to liaise with your team as well as customers. You'll also be responsible for asset protection, first aid response and emergency situations.

Our team of fully trained SIA licensed Uniformed Security Officers have a passion to help and a duty to protect our customers and employees alike. With the same attitude, you may have either a security or customer service background and hold a SIA Door Supervisor license.

Your work week will consist of four shifts made up of day or night shifts. This role can be physically demanding and a high level of fitness is essential on application.
