Christmas Temporary Bartender

We are now seeking a team of hospitality specialists to bring our vision to life and be part of something truly spectacular. This role will be a fixed term contract from 26th October 2025 to 10th January 2026. Join us in creating memorable experiences that will set the standard for luxury dining worldwide.

About the Role 

Our Front of House teams set the scene for exceptional experiences and are an invaluable part of our restaurants family. At Harrods, our Bartenders are flexible to guests’ needs, going above and beyond to make anything possible. They understand what it means to go the extra mile — nothing is ever too much trouble.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Bartender and Bar Manager to achieve commercial goals and deliver an outstanding guest experience. With a strong focus on daily operational excellence, you’ll play a key part in creating a world-class bar experience while supporting the team in achieving Harrods’ shared objectives.

About You  

You will have a great understanding of the level of service that is expected in a fine dining environment. You are also reliable and work well in a team, being a good listener and supporting others. 

You are an excellent communicator and you can motivate your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation maintaining company standards at all times. You have excellent organisational skills, customer service focused and able to work at pace whilst remaining calm and self-assured at all times.  

You will also:

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant drinks menu and allergens as well as a good knowledge of any specials promotions. Able to answer guest queries quickly, knowledgeably and in a discreet manner in line with the highest standards.
• Engage with and interact comfortably with guests and build a working rapport in service to ensure a smooth and elegant service experience.
• Have strong knowledge of different mixing techniques, classic cocktails preparation and bar operation. Being a Bartender for you isn’t just about making and serving fantastic cocktails, it’s about creating exceptionally personalised experiences for our customers.
• Provide menu concept introduction on how the drinks concept is delivered and make recommendations based on customer preferences. 
• Ability to take food and beverage orders in a professional manner and taking every opportunity to maximise sales in a discreet manner.
• Produce mis-en-place to required specs for each drink on a daily basis.
