IT Service Design & Transition Manager-18 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an IT Service Design & Transition Manager FTC to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will be responsible for service design and the transition of SAP Rise / S4Hana service(s) into live operations, thus ensuring the program transitions smoothly into service with appropriate measures and support.

This is a 18-month Fixed Term Contract.

About The Role

As the IT Service Design & Transition Manager you will be working collaboratively to assist in embedding a service management culture within the Project Life-Cycle and the wider IT Division, educating and influencing stakeholders gracefully by taking them on a journey whilst balancing their needs with the needs of the service.

You will also;

• Ensure adequate monitoring across the SAP landscape is in place, and that the necessary processes and procedures are in implemented to respond to alerts and incidents, whether that’s within business hours or during out of hours callouts to the on-call team
• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement Plan
• Ensure all issues are logged with resolution details, KB articles are authored, reviewed and published to empower downstream all the way to the user
• Reduce overall project and operational risk by challenging and uncovering design issues early in the project lifecycle, sharing implementation best practices, and recommending solution alternatives.
• Measure and review operational performance against SLAs and NFRs, and where relevant ensuring third party vendors meet their contractual commitments

About You

We are looking for someone who is has previous experience in Service design and transition, including hyper care and early life support principles. It is important for this role that you have an understanding of operational environments, specifically SAP, Finance, and Supply chain operations and a broad Understanding of operational environments, specifically SAP, Finance, and Supply chain operations.

• Strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task.
