Our Digital Marketing department are looking for a confident, hands on, self-starter who will play a pivotal role in shaping our presence online, supporting growth for our famous Knightsbridge store and harrods.com.

Position Purpose

You have a passion for data-led decision making and you’re comfortable diving into large data sets to find applicable insights for campaign optimisation. 

As Paid Social and Programmatic Display Assistant you will be integral in briefing creative that is fit for purpose, executing campaigns in a timely manner against a suitable audience, and reporting back on the results.

Your channels are increasingly important to find new audiences wherever they’re hanging out; your channels should be constantly feeding back audience insights to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with media agency for day to day campaign execution, optimisation and reporting
  • Liaise with internal creative team for creative and delivery of assets for all platforms ahead of deadlines as laid out by the marketing calendar
  • Use of Social platforms for budget, audience and ad management
  • On-going analysis of the platform data; always discovering opportunities for improved performance
  • Manage the feed health for dynamic product selection in Social and Display formats
  • Support Paid Social and Programmatic Manager in the delivery of all channel activity, end-to-end
  • Share analysis and insight to the wider team and Manager for planning and decision making
  • Know your numbers, working always to the targets agreed at the start of the campaign
  • Liaise with the online trade team for the latest product and brand updates
  • Liaise with content team to understand the available assets for every campaign and audience
  • Apply audience insights from historic campaigns and internal insights team to campaign planning
  • Using GA360 to understand on-site behaviour of the audiences you find through Social and Display, and for campaign planning and reporting to the business
  • Supporting the Manager in managing budgets between multiple strategies
  • Managing the campaign tracking codes across all activity
  • Troubleshooting channel issues which can include tracking, feed, budget allocation

Desirable experience, but not essential

  • Some work experience in paid social or programmatic display
  • Some experience in or understanding of ad operations; use of ad server such as DoubleClick/Campaign Manager
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Maths, Technology or relevant field of study
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

Requirements

  • Some understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape
  • Organised, self-starter and a quick learner
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Passion for digital marketing and luxury retail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
