What to Expect

As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for checking altered garments and making sure they meet our Harrods standards. Having technical and sewing experience is beneficial. Having great communication skills and maintaining a good relationships with the fitters and tailors is a must. It’s important to be able to work under pressure and be able to manage your workload in a timely manner. Other tasks within the role varies depending on skill.

What is important? 
The bespoke alterations team is very large. Our workroom consists of Quality controllers, meanswear tailors, womenswear tailors, express tailors and fashion fitters. We are supported by a team of assistant managers and managers. We are very much team focused. We believe that sharing success makes for a happy work environment.
