Salon Assistant

Our prestigious Hair and Beauty Salon here at Harrods is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to join our team as Salon Support and help maintain the salon's high standards.

About the Role

As Salon Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the salon's health, safety, and cleanliness standards are upheld. Your responsibilities will include organising and cleaning equipment and laundry, greeting and prepping clients for their appointments, and assisting senior colleagues with their services. Additionally, under supervision, you may carry out treatments such as shampooing, neutralising, or removing colour.

About You

You will be an individual who possesses strong organisational skills and outstanding customer service abilities. You should be able to engage positively with clients and promote a professional image of yourself and the salon. A passion for the hair and beauty industry, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt, is essential.

You will also have:

• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks effectively.
• The ability to work independently and without supervision.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and co-workers.
• Experience in stock checking and counting.
• Practical hairstyling skills to assist senior hairstylists.
