SAP Basis Administrator

We are looking for a SAS Basis Administrator to report directly to the Lead SAP Analyst, within the SAP function. The role is an exciting opportunity to improve and embed new ways of working at Harrods.

About the Role

This role will.  As a SAS Basis Administrator you will be accountable for the technical management of on-premise and PaaS SAP systems to ensure all SAP systems are run efficiently and effectively.

You will work with other members of the SAP Team Integration, Data Analytics and Single View of Customer teams, ensuring the SAP solutions are well managed and run without incident.

This role will be part of a team of several SAP BASIS Analysts

You will also:

• Participating in the Design Authority process
• Maintain the system by installing updates, and analysing for errors
• Managing transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies
• Involved in system tuning and performance monitoring and improvement.
• Monitor nightly backups and their integration with third-party backup systems, backup and restore strategies, database security, database problem determination and resolution
• Seeking training opportunities to increase knowledge and skill set to stay on top of the latest SAP updates

About You

You will be passionate about technology and is someone who looks to keep their knowledge current.

You will have demonstrable hands on experience supporting technical environments for SAP On-Premise and PaaS systems such as BW/4HANA, EWM, Business Objects, Fiori, CAR and ECC 6 in conjunction with Solution Manager 7.

You will also have excellent experience in SAP Marketing and SAP Cloud for Customers as well as supporting Oracle 12 and 19 patching and upgrades.

To be successful you will have:

• Experience Tunning SAP EWM, SAP ERP, SAP BW4HANA, SAP CAR
• Experience in Supporting SAP CPI and SAP PI/PO
• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP ERP, SAP BW4HANA
• Experience to manage and automate SAP Transport Request for SAP ERP, EWM, BW4HANA, SAP CAR
• Solid experience in SAP BAU Support
• Excellent Experience in system copy, client copy, SAP upgrade, patching etc.
• Excellent experience implementing and supporting HANA High Availability Cluster
• Good experience implementing SAP Cloud connector on Azur
