Senior Networks Engineer

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Networks Engineer to join our Data Networks team.

About the role

This role will provide technical support for Harrod’s Data Network on both LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security and SDA environments. You will ensure maximum service availability and performance through proactive monitoring, reporting and planning.

You will work collaboratively with the data network team to provide technical support knowledge. Further to this, you will contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Harrods infrastructure.

About you

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent organisational skills, good Cisco and Security product knowledge, as well as excellent fault-fixing/trouble shooting skills.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience with 2nd and 3rd level support for large network environments, playing a proactive role in each relevant project to establish and aid in the delivery of the requirement – retail experience is desirable but not essential.

You will have demonstrable experience implementing, promoting and enforcing standards, safe guards and procedures concerning the technical architecture of the Cisco Core Networking layer across multiple sites.
