We are looking for a Senior VIP Insights Manager for a 12–14-month maternity cover. The Senior VIP Insights Manager will lead the strategic direction for customer insights and analytics across Harrods Private Client Services, including Private and Personal Shopping. They will have a strong analytical mindset combined with business acumen to highlight key commercial opportunities. 

About The Role

This role will report to the Head of Customer Insights & Analytics, sitting in our Customer, Digital & Strategy directorate – part of our Brand Experience Division (BED). Armed with over a decade’s worth of data and best-in-class technology, with a store stocking everything from marmalade to yachts; no request will ever be quite the same!

Leading a team of three Analysts, the Senior Insights Manager will leverage advanced analytics to enhance VIC client relationships and drive lifetime value. To be successful, you must have experience translating quantitative analysis into commercially valuable insights. You must have excellent knowledge of Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, and using data visualisation software.

About You

The successful candidate will have insight & storytelling experience along with proven experience of turning data into successful business actions for a non-technical audience. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, along with people management experience and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

You will be highly analytical and a creative problem solver, capable of processing and analysing complex data sets. You will have hands on experience of SQL and data visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau. Ideally you will be able to understand clienteling and portfolio management principles within VIP databases, and have experience using Python.
