Are you passionate about Lingerie and ready to elevate your career in brand management? We’re looking for an ambitious, creative individual to join our Lingerie department as Supervisor. This role could sit within any of our innovative and fast-paced brands, each offering unique opportunities to shape product direction, drive performance, and connect with a diverse customer base. From trend-led fashion to elevated essentials, our brands span a wide range of aesthetics and markets. Candidates must be open to working across any brand within the Lingerie portfolio, depending on where their skills and experience best align with business needs.
Your product awareness and passion to nurture the brand, while maintaining a high level of brand representation, will drive you in seeing the brand succeed. You will do this by, having great product knowledge, maintaining standards in front and back of house, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and sending weekly trade reports.
About the Role
As a Supervisor, you’ll be setting the standard for service and supporting your colleagues to deliver exceptional experiences for every customer. You’ll inspire and coach Sales Associates, ensuring they’re knowledgeable, confident, and motivated to achieve sales through service.
Alongside delivering memorable interactions on the shop floor, you’ll take responsibility for operational excellence. From running daily deployments, ensuring shop floor cover and queue management, to overseeing standards of visual merchandising and stock replenishment, you’ll help create a seamless shopping experience. You’ll also act as a point of escalation for customer queries, turning challenges into positive outcomes. Your day-to-day will include:
Leading by example, delivering warm, personalised and memorable customer service
Supporting the Retail Manager with day-to-day operations, including scheduling breaks, floor deployment, and managing till queues
Coaching and supporting Sales Associates to grow product knowledge and customer service skills
Driving sales through service, upselling and cross-selling across product ranges
Maintaining immaculate visual merchandising and shop floor presentation standards
Handling refunds and escalations with professionalism and integrity
Monitoring performance indicators including NPS and sales vs budget, and supporting actions to drive improvement
Supporting opening/closing routines and ensuring all operational policies are followed
Key responsibilities include
Acting as a brand ambassador to drive awareness, sales, and client retention.
Organising product training and client outreach activities.
Maintaining strong stock control and accurate reporting to maximise trade.
Managing visual merchandising standards aligned with both brand and Harrods expectations.
Working closely with Harrods Assisted Shopping and client engagement teams.
This is a full time position, 37.5 hours a week, working any 5 days spread across the 7 on a rota basis.
About You
You’ll be a customer-focused retail professional with proven experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. With strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork, you’ll thrive in leading and motivating others to achieve results.
You will
Have some supervisory or leadership experience, ideally within retail, hospitality or a luxury customer-facing role
Be confident engaging and motivating a team, while setting the standard for excellence yourself
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Remain calm and composed under pressure, with a solution-focused approach to challenges
Bring strong product curiosity and be motivated to continually learn and share knowledge
Be flexible to work across a seven-day schedule, including weekends and peak periods
Take pride in your appearance, punctuality, and professionalism, representing the Harrods brand at all times
Be self-motivated and naturally curious, you will be keen to develop your product and industry knowledge
Have an out-of-the-box mentality, to surprise and delight customers with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Have outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
Have the ability to engage analytical approaches in driving the business of your brand, and have a genuine passion and interest.
Looking to progress your retail career
Previous experience in senior sales or brand specialist and building client relationships.
A genuine interest and passion for brand development and Harrods.
Self-motivated to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge.
An out of the box thinking mentality, to surprise and delight customers with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
A strong ability to drive a brands performance
Great organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly, including trade reports, reporting to stakeholders.
Comfortable delivering on brand targets and expectations
