Test Analyst (Digital)

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst (Digital) to join out IT Team here at Harrods. You will deliver high-quality testing across web and mobile applications. Working under guidance from the Test Lead, you’ll design and execute manual and automated test cases, validate APIs, support CI/CD integration, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, reliable releases

About the Role

As a Test Analyst, analyse the business and technical requirements to derive test scenarios and acceptance criteria, you will also contribute to the development of test plans and schedules, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Perform end-to-end validation of all digital applications and their integrations with other systems and third-party
  applications
• Validate REST/OData interfaces and middleware flows using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Support performance and security testing efforts by coordinating with specialised teams and interpreting results
• Analyse post release feedback and defect patterns to suggest process improvements and preventive measures

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in software testing, including digital/web/mobile applications as well as hands-on with manual testing and exposure to UI or API automation frameworks. It is important that you have experience in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and SQL for data validation.

You will also have the following;

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Clear communication both written and verbal
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Harrods values
