Big Ticket Delivery Driver

£15.14 per hour (£31,500 per annum)

40 hours a week

RETENTION BONUS: Up to £1,500.

Due to an exciting new venture, luxury furniture delivery will now be available to online customers. We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our Distribution team in Thatcham. The job holder will provide an effective and efficient delivery service ensuring the highest standard of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.

As an experienced Delivery Driver, you will have an appreciation for great service as you will be responsible for the reduction of returns by ensuring the correct handling of all merchandise when loading and delivering.

As you will be delivering to different locations knowledge of London and the Home Counties is desirable.

Please note the successful applicant must hold a Category C Licence.

This position works varied shifts between 8am and 9pm across any 5 of 7 days a week, with occasional weekend work.

Your daily task will include but will not be limited to:

• Transporting luxury furniture orders to customer homes
• Handling and assembling furniture for customers
• Keeping vehicles clean and tidy

About you

As an experience driver you will hold a clean driving license (C), a digital tachograph smart card and a driver CPC. The jobholder must be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role. You will have no more than 3 points on your driving license.
