Chef De Rang

Widely regarded as one of London’s finest tea-room experiences, where sophistication and glamour collide, The Harrods Tea Rooms is now looking for a passionate and customer focussed Chef De Rang to join a supportive and award winning dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About The Role

Our Front of House teams set the scene for exceptional experiences and are an invaluable part of our Restaurants family. Chefs De Rang across Harrods are flexible to our customers’ needs and go above and beyond to make anything possible. 

In this role, you will be assisting the Management team in running the restaurant effectively by maintaining high service standards and maximising sales, exceeding customer expectations. You will have the accountability and responsibility of areas within the restaurant ensuring it’s smooth running and going above and beyond to elevate the dining experience of our guests. 

About You

You will have worked in a senior waiter/waitress position previously, understanding the level of service that is expected in a fine dining environment.  
You are an excellent communicator and you can motivate your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the operation maintaining company standards at all times. You have excellent organisational skills, customer service focused and able to work at pace whilst remaining calm and self-assured at all times.

In joining the Harrods Team, you will receive:  

• The Chef De Rang position offers a competitive salary package up to £17ph (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge*)
• Fixed term contract (until 5th November 2023)
• Set contracted hours: Full time role, 39 hours, 5 days a week – paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of 1.5 p/h
