Coffee Roaster

Our Culinary team are now looking for a Production Roaster to join our world-class Food Halls.

You’ll be responsible for creating magical, memorable moments of delight. You’ll do this by providing a world class customer service, demonstrating passion and enthusiasm in the world of coffee & market trends, and by producing exceptional coffee products to be sold across our retail and hospitality business areas.

About The Role 

As the Production Roaster, you’ll be responsible for managing the day to day production of our coffee within our in-house roastery based in our Food Halls. On a day to day basis, the Production Roaster will organise and maintain the probat roaster, create and optimise roasting profiles together with the Master Roaster, and perfect our roasting techniques to ensure the highest, exceptional coffee is available to our customers. Additionally, you will hold weekly cupping sessions of our feature coffees to ensure quality levels are maintained, and train and develop our in-house baristas.

About You 

You will be passionate and knowledgeable about coffee, and be eager to share your passion with our customers to effectively communicate the Harrods coffee story whilst providing outstanding customer service. 
As this is a technical role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar position as a roaster to be confident in managing the end to end roasting process of our coffee beans, and be able to create new and exciting blends. Additionally, you’ll be confident in using Cropster and have a strong understanding of food safety & hygiene.
