Associate Talent Acquisition Partner
We’re looking for a Copy Lead to drive high-quality, customer-focused product content and lead a talented team within our Creative Studio.
This is a Fixed Term Contract until July 2026.
About the Role
As Copy Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Harrods’ e-commerce voice, ensuring product descriptions are informative, engaging, and aligned with our luxury brand standards. Reporting into the Copy Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the copy team, manage workflows, and support broader content strategy projects that enhance the customer journey.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing the daily operations of the Copy team, including workload allocation, output tracking, and holiday scheduling.
• Line managing Copywriters, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to maintain high standards.
• Acting as a key stakeholder in business-wide projects, including tooling updates, CMS improvements, and content strategy initiatives.
• Maintaining and updating house style guides in collaboration with senior team members.
• Partnering with internal teams (SEO, UX, Buying, Trade) to optimise product copy and improve the online customer experience.
About You
You will be an experienced e-commerce copywriter with a strong understanding of product content and a passion for leading and developing teams. You’re proactive, organised, and confident in managing multiple workflows while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. As a natural leader, you’ll be responsible for motivating your direct reports, coaching the wider team, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. Your ability to influence, problem-solve, and build relationships across departments will be key to your success.
You must have:
• Experience in e-commerce product copywriting and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of digital workflows and content optimisation.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
