What to Expect

The Distribution Systems Manager will be a central point of contact to Distribution for the continuity of operational systems. Working closely with the operations teams to ensure business as usual is maintained in the automation systems as well as throughout the manually controlled warehouses. The role provides a first line of support as well collaborating with IT support providers to manage issue resolution.

In addition, the role is responsible for the monitoring and measurement of systems performance, ensuring both service levels and Key Performance Indicators are achieved and the reporting of these to the Leadership Team, key stakeholders and partners.

What Is Important

A skilled multitasker, pro-active and continual improvement seeker, you will be instrumental in evolving system solutions across Distribution to deliver optimisation, both in terms of localised change as well as business transformation programmes. Acting in the best interests of the operation to articulate requirements, being an influential member of the project team, communicating with internal and external partners as well as coordinating activities alongside the Business Process Office.

The successful candidate will have a strong operational systems background with extensive knowledge of their use across Distribution. A clear and concise communicator with excellent project and organisational skills and enthusiasm to further develop themselves as well as ensuring systems proficiency across the team.
