About You              

You will have strong experience in the Events Industry, ideally managing multiple projects at any one time. You will be a detail orientated person, used to working at a fast pace, in a dynamic environment. You will be passionate about the events industry in the luxury landscape. Liaising with stakeholders both internal and external, you will be confident in communicating with people at all levels in a professional manner.

What to Expect

At Harrods, we host over 400 events as year! With everything from small events like face painting in the Childrenswear area, through to our annual magical Christmas Grotto! As the events executive, you will be required to do the following:

  • Liaising with clients and teams to ascertain their precise event requirements.
  • Collating detailed proposals, incorporating creative proposals that fit within store policy.
  • Develop event timelines highlighting key dates
  • Developing the creative element of all event concepts, taking lead from start with Marketing/PR Managers
  • Responsible for event management liaison with PR/Marketing Managers to ensure clear lines of communication and maximising event awareness from start to finish
  • Managing relationship with internal affairs and corporate affairs on all aspects of event communications
  • Managing development of event social media strategies and implementation at events
  • Work closely with Events Manager on management of all event planning and event logistics
  • Management of all international events in line with global strategy
  • Involvement in development of annual events strategy in line with brand communications strategy
  • Increasing direct reports to improve management skills

The events team works at a very fast pace, every day is different. This role has relationships across the whole business, not just the Brand Experience Division and so we must be approachable and efficient. At times, we are very busy and support each other to succeed as a team.
