Payroll Technician

Our Payroll team is are now looking for a Payroll Technician to join us at Harrods. 

About The Role 

The Payroll Technician will work closely with the Assistant Payroll Manager to ensure all employees are paid on time and ensure that all tasks on the monthly checklist are complete. You will update the monthly checklist in line with current audit and legislation requirements, as well as record payroll processes such as overpayments, advances & late paperwork to provide to the Assistant Manager for monthly statistics. As a senior member of the payroll team, you will be required to assist the Payroll Administrators with day-to-day queries.  

About You 

You will have previous experience working in an inhouse payroll team, ideally having looked after between 500-3000 employees. You will understand the payroll process from start to finish, and  have knowledge of statutory payments , tax and NI, and payroll laws and procedures. 

You will have experience using excel including Look Ups, Pivots and Macros, along with a good understanding of numbers, and strong mathematic skills. A CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential for the role.
