We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join our Colleague Experience team here at Harrods. We’ve got wonderful stories to share and are looking for someone with brilliant ideas and the technical know-how to produce authentic and engaging content.
About the Role
From concept to execution, you will play a critical role in elevating our content for a variety of channels and audiences. Through solid digital design and heartfelt copy, you’ll produce content that drives a sense of connection, engagement and excitement which will attract people to our business. You’ll partner a wide range of stakeholders from across the business, building long-term relationships to ensure we remain connected to the requirements of different areas.
The role will report into the Employer Brand Manager and you will partner with the Resourcing and Talent Attraction team to deliver recruitment marketing campaigns. You’ll measure success at every step of the way, coming up with fresh and exciting ideas on how to continually optimise the effectiveness of our content.
You will be responsible for:
- Social media posting and community management for a variety of channels; Instagram, LinkedIn, Harrods Careers, Glassdoor and Forever Green & Gold Alumni.
- Working closely with the current Digital Content Specialist to maintain the Employer Brand Calendar.
- Track and manage metrics to measure impact and provide proposals to refine and optimise content effectiveness.
- Unleashing your creativity – consistently coming up with ideas, from concept development into shooting & editing, all the way to flawless execution.
About You
You’ll be confident in working with a range of digital tools, storytelling via output such as video and podcasts. You’ll enjoy this role if you love thinking creatively about ways to engage with people; whether it’s tactically driving the big campaigns or putting your heart into small touches. Everything you do will support our ambition to showcase Life at Harrods, and position Harrods as an employer of choice.
You will also:
- Be proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Ideally have a background in creating and producing content using film, photography, and graphic design.
- Have a portfolio of multi-media assets that demonstrates creative capability.
- Be confident in using advanced recording equipment such as 4k video camera, gimbles, audio recording.
- Have a sound understanding of various external digital platforms; particularly Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Always have your finger on the pulse when it comes to digital trends and new innovations.
- Be a talented writer and presenter with a natural ability to build great relationships with people from across the business.
