About You

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the Harrods HR team. You will be responsible for providing successful solutions to employee relations issues based on employment law expertise and business knowledge. You should have significant experience managing complex ER cases and up to date expert knowledge of employment legislation. You will be a natural communicator and pride yourself on the positive relationships you build across a business.
You will be able to demonstrate effective planning and organising skills and the ability to successfully manage high volume of work accurately and to deadlines. We are in a period of exciting change and transformation so a forward-thinking approach and confidence to challenge the status quo is key.

What to Expect

As an ER Specialist you will manage and resolve escalated enquiries and cases across the business. You will always aim to provide value add by applying your knowledge, experience and judgement to achieve solutions.

  • Support Managers through ER cases end to end through a consistent and structured process
  • Use a case management system to maintain up to date records to ensure accurate reporting information
  • Analyse trends in employment issues being handled through HR Services, and questions asked / support needed by line managers to identify areas for potential process, policy and tool improvement.

  • Participate in process/ service improvement activity as required, e.g. mapping updated process, creating training and work instructions for the improved process.

  • Support with the delivery of the Disciplinary & Grievance accreditation programme and Equal Opportunities to the business.

  • Create and deliver Bespoke training session where identified by trend analysis.
