About You

We are looking for an exceptional strategic HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a highly visible and dynamic role and by successfully flexing between strategy and operations you will be responsible for driving the People Plan across key areas of the Harrods business.

You will be able to demonstrate your experience of driving sustained change and business improvement in previous roles. You will be recognised for your ability to influence and coach senior leadership and credibly position yourself as a trusted advisor. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills and the ability to build positive internal relationships through high levels of partnership.

You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of HR core areas including talent management, change, people development and employee relations. You will be a natural team player, happy to share knowledge and expertise with the wider Business Partner team, and a true people person. Through close partnership you will collaborate with the HR COEs to support the delivery of your business area’s people priorities but also contribute to corporate people strategy.

What to Expect

The successful candidate will report into the HR Operations Director and will partner our Buying, Merchandising and Restaurants senior leadership teams to deliver their people priorities.

Through close partnership with each business area you will drive, shape and lead the People Plan; aiming to improve business results and ensure HR strategy is translated into tangible actions. You will be forward thinking, always making sure the structure, resources and talent are fit for upcoming requirements; Harrods is not a business that stands still and as such our HR Business Partners must be familiar with change and transition.

You will work with our learning and development team and senior business leaders to identify and nurture key talent to support succession planning. You will identify future talent needs and through close collaboration with Resourcing ensure we have the best people in place to deliver business results.
