We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our Procurement team here at Harrods. This is to support the Procurement tam with the e-procurement platformer operation and general procurement support tasks.

This is a 6 Month Fixed Term Position

About The Role

As the Procurement Assistant you will be carry out credit checks and NDAs for potential suppliers as well as supporting with various reporting requirements: category spend analysis, ownership of team reporting requirements. In this role you will also be tracking e-procurement new releases and share insights with the wider team and running reports within the system for circulation in the team or to stakeholders (supplier directories, contract status reports etc.)

You will also;

  • Meeting co-ordination and arrangement (internal and external)
  • Maintaining the supplier database
  • Managing travel requirements for the Procurement Team when required
  • Raising purchase orders as and when required
  • General administration tasks when required

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous Procurement Assistant experience, running credit checks, drafting NDA’s is desirable. It is important for this role that you have previous experience using a Procurement system.

You will also have the following;

  • Good Excel skills(Basic)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
