Roastery Production Assistant

Our Culinary team are now looking for a Roastery Production Assistant to join our world-class Food Halls. You’ll be responsible for creating magical, memorable moments of delight. You’ll do this by providing a world class customer service, demonstrating passion and enthusiasm in the world of coffee & market trends, and by building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand.

About The Role

As a Production Assistant, you will report directly to the Master Roaster and will be an integral part of our roastery operations. You will contribute to the entire coffee production process, from green beans to the perfect roast. You will be responsible for ensuring that the finished product is of the highest quality and fit for sale within Harrods. In this role, you will also be responsible for packaging and labelling roasted coffee with precision and care. Your attention to detail and dedication will be critical in maintaining the quality and consistency of our coffees. 

About You

You have a passion and enthusiasm about coffee and market trends. You’ll have a strong track record of time spent within a coffee roastery environment or at a senior barista level and have the desire to learn about the art and science of roasting. You’ll be confident working in a guest-facing and fast-paced environment. You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have great communication skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels.
