We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Internal Auditor to join our team at Harrods. Our Internal Audit Department provides the business with assurance that the Harrods Group’s main business risks are managed and controlled adequately. They do this by reviewing the businesses’ risks, controls and operational performance throughout the diverse Harrods Group.

As a Trainee Internal Auditor, you will participate in the continuous auditing programme which involves the analysis and investigation of business-wide data including sales, stock and service performance. Additionally, you will research the related underlying processes and systems, and assist with administrative tasks. The role will include audit fieldwork, testing and writing reports on your findings, requiring a keen eye for detail.

Given the nature of the position, it is essential that you are able to maintain complete confidentiality at all times. Although no prior audit experience is required, ideally you will have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and have an understanding and interest in the audit function, as well as possessing excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills. Furthermore, a great deal of flexibility will be required, as assignments and priorities can change at short notice.

This role will give you an in-depth understanding of the whole business in terms of its operations, risks and business processes. To support your development, Harrods will support you in undertaking professional qualifications to assist you in your career within internal audit.
