The Online Trading team is responsible for delivering the sales & margin results on harrods.com. There are three main elements to delivering the sales performance; working with the store buying & merchandise planning teams on product selection, enriching product data & publishing products to the website and merchandising the products once online using online analytics to drive sales. The objective is to develop, enhance and maintain harrods.com as the ultimate luxury destination to drive the sales and margin for the business.
The thriving team works closely with various teams across the business including creative, production and buying teams to launch the product range in a timely manner. Understanding of the customer base, through analysing sales performance and site trading metrics, alongside an understanding of online user experience and customer journey are essential. Passion for ecommerce and the luxury-end of the fashion, beauty, food and gifting market and a strong commercial & business acumen are the inherent qualities we are looking for.
