AML/Compliance Analyst

We are currently looking for an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Analyst to join our knowledgeable and established Anti-Money Laundering Compliance team here at Harrods. The AML Compliance Analyst will be part of a team of experts that aim to protect the Harrods brand from risk, reputational and financial damage.

About the Role

The AML Compliance Analyst will conduct detailed analysis and monitor data and trends for the compliance team. This role will focus on finding areas of non-compliance and put in place processes to mitigate the risk going forward. This role will involve spotting issues and advise retail departments of best practise and conducting training sessions with retail staff to keep their compliance knowledge up to date. The AML Compliance Analyst will be involved in the vetting and approval process of  potential customers for Harrods Safe Deposit.

About You

You will have a passion for compliance and data. You must possess the ability to report on, monitor and analyse retail compliance KPIs to ensure retail departments act in line with policy, procedure and legislation whilst spotting trends or concerns. Having prior experience in a compliance based role is advantageous.

You will also:

• Have working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations not limited to AML compliance regulations, requirements and GDPR
• Have intermediate capability using MS-Excel (pivots, vlookups, etc.)
• Be confident and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Be attentive to detail and have a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Be a team player.
