Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our passionate, supportive, and successful Production kitchen team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About the Role
As the Catering Assistant in our Production kitchen, you'll be part of the team who create all the wonderful fresh salads & sandwiches that our unique food hall sells daily. Reporting into the Chef de Partie, you’ll be a key member of the team, whose role is integral to the smooth organisation and delivery of the kitchen operations.
You’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing and organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean. You’ll be supporting the running of a section by collaborating with the Demi Chef de Partie and other team members ensuring daily preparation levels are completed and complies with the deadlines set. In this role, you’ll guarantee that food safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets.
About You
You’ll have great time-management skills and able to work well within a team. You’ll have great interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential, ideally with some time spent within a busy catering environment.

- Competitive salary package of up to £15 p/h (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge)*
